GTA 6 on PS5 reportedly 210 GB – pre-load starts November 12

According to the X account PlayStation Game Size, GTA VI will take up around 210 GB on PS5 – double Red Dead Redemption 2. The size has not been officially confirmed.

Unconfirmed report: The download size doesn't come from Rockstar or Sony. Until it shows up officially on the PlayStation Store, treat it as a rumor.

The X account PlayStation Game Size, which regularly shares download sizes for PS5 games, posted details about Grand Theft Auto VI on October 27, 2026.

What the report says

• Download size on PS5: around 210 GB – double Red Dead Redemption 2 (105 GB)
• Standard Edition price: $79.99
• Pre-load: from November 12, 2026
• Release: November 19, 2026 at midnight

The price, pre-load start and release date match what Rockstar has already announced (see Pre-orders, editions and prices). What's new – and unconfirmed – is mainly the 210 GB figure.

What it means for you

If the number holds up, make room on your PS5 in time – plus some headroom for a day-one patch. If you're planning an M.2 SSD upgrade, you've still got a good two weeks before pre-load.
