Delete your account and data
Delete your Vice Locals account and all associated data here – for the websites vicelocals.de and vicelocals.com and the “Vice Locals” Android app.
Sign in to delete your account
To delete your account you need to be signed in with the Discord account that belongs to your Vice Locals account. After signing in you’ll come straight back here.
Sign in with DiscordWithout signing in: by email
Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete account” and include your Discord username. To make sure nobody deletes someone else’s account, we may ask you to confirm briefly via Discord direct message. We then delete your account within one month (usually within a few days) and confirm it by email.
How it works
- Open this page (vicelocals.com/delete-account) in your browser or in the app – or in the app via Profile → “Delete account”.
- Sign in with Discord if you aren’t signed in yet.
- Tick the box, type “DELETE” and tap “Permanently delete account”.
- Done: your account and data are deleted immediately and you are signed out on all devices.
What is deleted immediately
- Your account: Discord ID, username, display name, avatar, sign-up and last-login times, settings (e.g. notifications)
- Local Pass: public pass page, generated pass images and cached avatar
- All your comments
- Map favorites, private markers and pending or rejected marker suggestions and corrections including uploaded images
- Guide drafts and submissions including unpublished cover images
- Points, rank, role requests and on-site notifications
- Your support tickets with all messages and screenshots
- Push subscriptions linked to your account
- All sign-in sessions (you are signed out everywhere)
What is kept – and for how long
- Published guides and accepted map contributions (markers, corrections incl. approved images) remain part of the map or guides, but anonymized – without your name, avatar or any link to you. If you want these removed too, email us.
- Server logs and database backups: deleted automatically after 14 days – after that, no data of yours remains there either.
- Team role and moderation log (e.g. team roles granted, points awarded, moderation actions in the Discord server): 12 months, then deleted automatically.
- Tickets in the Discord server (bot tickets): 30 days after closing. You manage your Discord server membership and messages there in Discord itself – to leave, leave the server.
- Emails to support: until the matter is settled, at most 12 months.
- On your device: cookies, local storage and the offline cache stay with you – clear them in your browser or app settings (“clear storage”) or uninstall the app.
Used it without an account?
Guest support tickets and push subscriptions without an account aren’t tied to an account. We delete guest tickets on request by email (please include the ticket number), otherwise automatically 12 months after the last activity. You can end push subscriptions under Notifications with “Unsubscribe on this device” – they are then deleted immediately.
