Vice Locals Discord bot
Bot Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 October 2026
These terms apply to the use of the Vice Locals Discord bot (“the bot”), operated by Niklas Schreckling (contact: see the legal notice / Impressum). By adding the bot to a server or using its commands you agree to them.
1. The service
The bot posts Vice Locals news, GTA 6 patch notes and a live server status message into channels chosen by a server admin and answers commands such as /localpass, /rank and /setup. It is free of charge. We may change, limit or discontinue features at any time, and there is no guaranteed availability.
2. Server admins
Only members with the “Manage Server” permission can configure the bot. Admins are responsible for choosing suitable channels and ping roles and for giving the bot the permissions it needs. If the bot repeatedly cannot post in a channel, it stops posting there automatically.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the bot to:
- break the law, Discord’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines;
- spam, harass or mislead people, or post its content in a way that suggests it comes from Rockstar Games or is official;
- overload, probe, scrape or disrupt the bot or the Vice Locals website, or try to get around its limits or permissions;
- resell the service or its content.
We may remove the bot from a server, block servers or users and refuse service in case of abuse.
4. Content
Posts link back to vicelocals.com or vicelocals.de. Texts by Vice Locals remain ours; game names, images and trademarks belong to their respective owners (e.g. © Rockstar Games). Status information is collected from public sources without guarantee of accuracy.
5. Fan project
Vice Locals is an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or Discord.
6. Liability
The bot is provided “as is”. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health; otherwise only for breach of essential obligations and limited to foreseeable damage, as far as legally permitted.
7. Privacy
What data the bot processes is described in the Bot Privacy Policy. Support tickets on the official Discord server are saved as text transcripts for 30 days and then deleted. Need help? Join our support.
8. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page. German law applies. Remove the bot to stop using it at any time.
