Leonida is Rockstar's take on Florida. Six regions have been officially revealed – the descriptions here are based on rockstargames.com/VI. Our fan map shows roughly where they're likely to be (positions estimated).
Vice City
"America's sun and fun capital." Pastel art deco hotels and white beaches in Ocean Beach, panaderías in Little Cuba, knock-off brands at the Tisha-Wocka Flea Market, and the VC Port – according to Rockstar, the "cruise capital of the world". More
Leonida Keys
A tropical archipelago: life here isn't glamorous, but it's laid-back – right next to some of the most beautiful and dangerous waters in America. More
Grassrivers
A primordial wilderness. The gators are the best-known attraction, but even more dangerous predators and strange discoveries lurk among the mangroves. More
Port Gellhorn
Cheap motels, shuttered attractions, empty strip malls – and a new economy built on malt liquor, painkillers and gas-station energy drinks. More
Ambrosia
In the heart of Leonida, industry and old-school values rule. The Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides the jobs; the local biker gang runs just about everything else. More
Mount Kalaga National Park
A national park on the state's northern border: hunting, fishing, off-road trails – and in the woods all around, mystics and paranoiacs living far from the government's reach. More
Speculation: the placement of the regions on our map is based on Florida's geography and the trailers. There's no official map yet.
